Using the Eduroam Wi-Fi Option

Eduroam is multi-institutional secure global access for research and education member institutions. Eduroam allows students, researchers and staff from participating institutions to obtain Internet connectivity across campus and when visiting other participating institutions by simply opening their laptop and connecting to the eduroam SSID.

For more information on institutions that are members of eduroam, visit the eduroam website at https://www.eduroam.us/.

To Use Eduroam:

  • Before using eduroam at other institutions, you must set up eduroam at the CSUMB campus.
  • To connect, select the Eduroam SSID from the available networks.
  • Use otterid@csumb.edu (otte1234@csumb.edu, where otte1234 is your otterid) as the username. The password is your OtterID password.
  • Your eduroam access will continue as long as your CSUMB username is valid.
