Connecting a Samsung Galaxy Using Android 13/14 to the CSUMB Wi-Fi

These instructions are for connecting an android 13/14 device to our CSUMB Wi-Fi, specifically using the Samsung Galaxy.

Step one: To find the Wi-Fi settings tap on the Settings app -> Network & Internet -> Wi-Fi and locate CSUMB in the listed available networks.

Step two: Tap on CSUMB to open the screen to configure the setting:

  • EAP method: Select PEAP from the pull down menu.
  • Identity: Enter your CSUMB username (otterID)
  • Password: Enter your CSUMB password that goes with your username
  • CA Certificate: Select Do Not Validate from the pull down. (Ignore the warning)

Step three: Tap the Connect button at the bottom and you should be connected.
