There are many ways in which you can search the service catalog to find the service ticket:
- Browse by Category
- Search the Catalog
- Search the A-Z Listing
- Browse by Popular Service, Recently Visited Services
- Finding Key Terms
- Favorites
Browse by Category
- Service Categories are organized by content groups. The most popular Services are listed at the top of each Category or Subcategory.
- Click on the Category to view the list of Services.
- Use the breadcrumbs at the top left to navigate back to the top page.
Search the Catalog
- The entire Service Catalog can be searched using the Search box on the top right corner.
- Click the small down arrow on the left to limit the search to either the Service Catalog or the Knowledge Base.
- Type in a short description of the Service needed.
- Click the Enter key on your keyboard.
- Review and select from the resulting list.
Search the A-Z Listing
To view a list of services by alphabetical order:
- Click Services A-Z at the top of the Service Catalog page. (Public Services will be listed alphabetically.)
- Click any letter on the horizontal bar to go directly to Services starting with that letter.
Browse by Popular Services, Recently Visited Services
- The five most Popular Services are listed on the right side of the Services Catalog page.
- The five most Recently Visited Services are listed below the Popular Services list.
Finding Key Terms
Find any reference to a keyword that describes the Service by pressing Ctrl+F (for Windows) or Cmd+F (for Macs) to quickly find key terms. The search includes Category, Subcategory, and Service, as well as short and long descriptions.
Favorites
- Save any Service as a Favorite to make it easier to find in the future.
- Click the blue * Add to Favorites button on the right side of the Service page.
- Click the My Favorites link on the grey toolbar to view all your favorite services.
- To remove from the My Favorites list, click Remove to the right of the Service name on the My Favorites page.
