How to choose a printer using PrinterLogic
To use PrinterLogic on Windows 10
Locate the printer you wish to print on and take note of the printer name sticker on the front of the printer:
Note: The naming convention is: building number- room number- model of printer. In the case above the printer is in building 43 room 300 and is a KMC364e printer.
On your computer, click on the PrinterLogic icon in the system tray.
PrinterLogic will launch in your default web browser. Scroll down in the left navigation pan and select the building location of the printer.
If that building has floors, a list of floors will come up. Select floor the printer is located on.
Select desired printer by clicking on it.
Once you click on the printer, you will get asked to confirm the installation. If you want this printer to be your default printer click the check box at the bottom of the pop-up box.
PrinterLogic will then begin installing the selected printer.
When done you will get a confirmation the printer was installed:
