New to CSUMB
You need to claim and set up your account.
- Check the email you used to apply to the university for an email about setting up your account.
- Email comes from accounts@csumb.edu
- Follow the instructions in the email to set up your account.
- If you can't find the email, call 831-582-4357 (HELP) during business hours.
Reset Password
If you forgot your password, you can reset your password on your own if you set up a secondary email and security question in your OKTA Profile. Otherwise, call 831-582-4357 (HELP) during business hours to reset your password.
Unlock Account
If you enter the wrong password too many times, your Okta account will be locked. You can unlock your account on your own if you set up a secondary email and security question in your OKTA Profile. Otherwise, call 831-582-4357 (HELP) during business hours to unlock your account.
Use this ticket if you can login but can't access something
If you are able to log into your account but are having issues getting into a specific application, submit this ticket explaining what you are trying to access and what error message you are receiving.
Username
Your username is the last for four digits of your last name plus four numbers. For example if your name was Joe Otter your username would look like “Otte1234”. If you are unsure what your username you can call the Technology Help Desk at 831-582-4357.
