Body

Business Analysts assist users to build, maintain, troubleshoot and add data to enterprise and engagement applications, as well as planning, organizing, and management of projects that require technical support. Please see the IT Project Requests service to formally request a new project.

Operational support is provided for the following Business Applications:

  • OASIS
  • 3rd Party Systems: Accommodate, Community, CSM, Horizons, Insight and Student Training LMS
  • Jenzabar
  • Reports

OASIS support is available for the following modules:

  • Attributes (New)
  • Business Process Mapping
  • Business Process Review
  • Checklists (New/Updates)
  • Com Gen / Communication (New/Update/Issues)
  • EOP Processes
  • PDL Issues
  • Recruitment Category
  • Security Request
  • Service Indicators (New/Update)
  • SmartPlanner
  • Title IX Processes
  • Duplicate EmplID Cleanup (The analyst who submits the ticket should assume responsibility for it and coordinate cleanup.)

Business Analysts also provide support to External Education and International Programs (EEIP) for the following configuration items:

  • Create a Person/Recruiter
  • Create an M/P External Org ID
  • Enrollment Appointments
  • Grade Rosters
  • SEVIS
  • Study Agreements
  • Report Request (OAS-Oracle Analytics Server and/or OASIS PS Query)
  • Other

Other 3rd Party System Support:

  • Assignment of Student Training (Title IX and Alcohol Education)
  • ODI Run Control Update

Application Security:

Production:

  • Access requests are handled via the Data Access Request (DAR) forms. Please visit the CSUMB OASIS Employee Access website for more details.

Projects:

  • Security updates for projects are typically handled through the primary TeamDynamix project ticket. If there is not a primary project ticket, please submit a TeamDynamix ticket under this category detailing your request.

Maintenance Packs:

  • Security updates needed in production after a Maintenance Pack update are handled through TeamDynamix. Please submit a ticket describing the access needed.

Business Analysts provide application security support for the following areas:

  • OASIS
  • OAS-Oracle Analytics Server (replaced Hyperion application as of 8/16/2021)
  • OnBase
  • Symplicity
  • Accommodate

Additional access to the above applications should be handled via the Alternate DAR form.
