The password reset feature is not available to users subscribing to Basic service without Gmail integration (voicemail notifications in your email inbox). If you are a Basic service subscriber, please submit an IT Service Request to request a password reset from the administrators.
First, it’s important to know that CSUMB primarily uses three types of passwords for the ESNA Officelinx voicemail system:
- Telephone User Interface (TUI) Password - used to login to a voicemail box through a campus telephone. The TUI password is a numeric password. The default TUI password is 13579.
- Okta Password - used with Otter ID to authenticate with Google Apps for Education (G Suite)
- Application or UC Application Password - used to login to basic voicemail boxes, such as department voicemail boxes, that are not associated with a CSUMB Gmail account and do not support advanced features such as Gmail and Google calendar synchronization.
To reset the TUI password, complete the following steps.
- Open a browser window and type the following address into your address bar: voicemail.csumb.edu
- Select Password Reset from the landing page.
- Enter your campus Gmail address and select the Reset Voicemail Password button. Type the Captcha characters you see in the image and click Send a Request.
- If your Captcha was correct, you should receive a confirmation message saying your Password was successful and an email from Admin Mailbox containing a link to reset your password. Click the link in the email to reset your password.
- Complete the Voicemail Password Reset form using a numeric password that is at least 4 digits long and a maximum of 15 digits. Confirm your password and click Reset Password.
Congratulations! You have successfully reset your voicemail TUI password.
If your password will not reset, please submit a Voicemail service request for assistance with resetting the password. You can submit the Voicemail service request here.
