Overview
IT will modernize our account management and syncing process to work with our identity management system (Okta).
Project Timing: Spring Break
We'll change out the service that syncs with Okta over Spring Break 2024 (March 25-29).
This is a required update to modernize our system and reduce our technical debt.
We are using Spring Break for this update so IT staff can make sure the new process runs as expected with minimal impact to our campus community in the case of an unexpected failure. We are not expecting any impact to the user community.
Once in place, this process will only affect accounts that have actually been added or changed.
