Assistive Technology

• Assistive technology products are specialty hardware and software products (computerized screen readers, voice recognition, etc.) that provide essential accessibility to computers for those with significant vision, hearing, dexterity and mobility, language communication or learning needs.
   
• Individuals that are new to assistive technology products may need specific training (individual or web-based, or both) to facilitate their work and learning.
   
• Students, staff or instructors with disabilities can use assistive technology to access digital material.
