IT@CSUMB provides the design and planning of communication cabling for campus voice, data and video networks.
Design Services are typically utilized when an outside contractor will be facilitating the installation instead of Network Services providing installation.
A variety of design services are available depending on the scope and scale of the project, from project/plan review and specification writing to full consulting and telecommunications infrastructure design and engineering.
Network Design & Construction Support ensures new voice, data and video networks are designed to CSU, Campus, and Industry codes and standards to ensure consistency across campus. Additionally, Network Services involvement ensures that any new network infrastructure is compatible with existing Campus equipment, services and policies.
Pricing is customized based on the project scope, as most costs are incurred at the installation portion of the project.
