How to Report a Phish Email

Although your first instinct might be to delete or ignore suspicious emails, we ask that you report any suspicious emails to Google, using the Report phishing function of Google.  

Please note that you can only do this using a web browser. Using the Google App will not work. 

You can report it to Google by opening the message and clicking on the three vertical dots, indicating more:

Then select the Report phishing option as shown below from the menu:

In addition to reporting it to Google, you can also forward a copy to phishing@csumb.edu and we can take a look at it.
