The ESNA Officelinx voicemail system uses a Location setting to determine which greeting to play to a caller or to route the call to an external number. The default Location is In Office. To change your greetings or call forwarding, you will need to change your Location.
The fastest way to customize your Location setting is through the web portal using a browser. Please see the Knowledge Base article How to Login to the ESNA Officelinx Web Portal for help with logging into the web portal for the first time.
Customizing a Location Setting
When logged into the web portal, click the orange Locations box under the Location column to customize your location settings. For example, see the Knowledge Base article Set Up Call Forwarding for Your Campus Extension for more information on call forwarding.
Click on a Location in the Locations list and a pop-window will appear with the Location's settings. A series of grey tabs can be used to change Location settings.
Changing a Location
After you have customized your desired Locations, you can use the Change Current Location box under the Location column to change your Location active the respective settings.
Another option to change your Location, and therefore your greeting and call forwarding settings, is available through the iLink Pro mobile app. You can use the iLink Pro mobile app on iOS and Android mobile phones. Through the iLink Pro, changing your Location is as easy as tapping the Location icon in the bottom right hand corner of your screen and tapping the new Location. The Location icon is a group of two buildings.
Note: It is also possible to request your Location settings change automatically in synchronization with your Google calendar. On default, this feature is disabled. If you're interested in a voicemail box with Google calendar synchronization that would change your Location automatically based on your calendar, please submit an IT ticket with your request to add Google calendar synchronization to your voicemail box.
