December 18, 2023 Account Issues (Resolved)

On the afternoon of December 18, 2023 a planned account maintenance experienced an unforseen failure in which some Cal State Monterey Bay account users experienced a loss of access to most online resources.

As of December 20, 2023, we believe all impacted customers should have their access back. 

Note: We will continue to monitor and respond to account-related problem tickets and voicemails during the December 22 to January 1 campus holiday closure.

Dashboard Apps Issues

If you are missing apps from your dashboard or still experiencing issues loading apps please try these steps: 

  1. Release your browser's cache.
  2. Update your web browser to the newest version.
  3. Restart your computer. 

Once done try accessing the app you were having issues with. If you are still experiencing issues, please place an Account Access problem ticket or call the Technology Help Desk at 831-582-4357.

Logging into CSUMB-issued Computers

If you work remotely and are receiving an error message about your domain being unable when you try to log into your CSUMB-issued computer, the fastest way to remedy this is to come to campus and log onto the CSUMB Wi-Fi.

We understand that you may not be local to the campus. If you are unable to come to campus, please place an Account Access problem ticket and be sure to include the asset number (CSUMB Property sticker) from your computer or call the Technology Help Desk at 831-582-4357.
