Register Devices Without Browsers on the CSUMB Guest Wi-Fi Network

Learn how to connect devices like game consoles, Smart TVs and other devices that don't have web browsers on the "CSUMB Guest" Wi-Fi network.

Note: This service is not for registering devices such as laptops, desktops, smartphones, etc. Please connect these devices using the secure "CSUMB" wi-fi network. 

Registering Devices Without Browsers on the "CSUMB Guest" Wi-Fi Network

Registration process

1. Locate your devices MAC Address. Refer to your device support website or document where to locate this information. MAC address is a 12 character code (11-22-33-AA-BB-CC).

2. From any laptop, desktop or mobile device, login to CSUMB Device Registration..

3. Login with your CSUMB username and password.

4. To register your device you must fill out the Residence Hall Device Registration form as follows:

  • Connection: Choose wireless from the pull down.
  • Location: Choose “Campus Bldg (Wifi).
  • MAC address: input the MAC address for your device.
  • Terms of Use: You click the checkbox to agree.
  • Press Create Device button.

5. Turn off your device, wait 15 seconds and turn your device back on. 

6. Connect  to “CSUMB Guest” Wi-Fi network.
