Software Install or Update

Use Google Drives to Prevent Data Loss

Saving all documents to the cloud instead of your computer can be a lifesaver, especially if you are having an issue with your CSUMB computer and the computer needs to be swapped out.

Submit an IT Ticket to request the following on your CSUMB Desktop:

  1. Installation of software not already in the loadset that came with your computer
  2. Update/upgrade of specific software packages
  3. Request a complete computer software refresh (re-image) on your CSUMB Desktop. All data will be lost when a machine is re-imaged. Please backup your data before submitting a re-image request.

To request software for lab/classrooms, please submit a Lab Software Review request form.

Visit the  Free and Discounted Software  service page for free or discounted software for installation on your personal computer or a CSUMB computer without a software loadset.
