Accessing Separated Staff/Faculty Accounts

Ideally a separated staff or faculty will perform transfer all work-related files and documents prior to their separation (see IT Checklist for Managers of Separating Employees).

Occasionally items get overlooked or there is a operational need for their manager to have access to their documents or accounts after separation. This is a list of the types of tickets you can submit for access to separated employee's accounts.

1. Place a delegated email account access ticket to be delegated access to your separated employee's email for operational purposes for a specific amount of time. 

2. Place a G-suites ticket for access to your separated employee's Google drive information (including google docs, sheets, etc)

3. Place a file sharing ticket for access to your separated employee's J:Drive.

4. Place a problem/troubleshooting ticket for access to a separated employee's files located on the local drive to their department issued desktop and/or laptop. 

5. Place a voicemail service request for access to a separated employee's voicemail. 

Please Note: All requests for access will only be granted to the MPP in that department and are subject to Human Resources approval.
